(67)  Chew your food well!

Our doctors and parents are always training us since childhood to observe this habit. But how many of us actually are following this? In today’s times, when life is so hectic, one hardly gets the time to chew on the cud. But wait a moment; think of the wise things our parents taught us! Chewing the food well helps in easy digestion of the food we eat so next time you wish to eat, nibble on raw food like carrots, radish, cabbage etc. besides their need to be chewed well, these foods are rich in fiber which is responsible for our digestion. Fibrous food helps roughage to enter our system and helps the organs of the digestive system to function well.

(68) Small meals

Distribute your intake of food throughout the day. It is a good idea to eat small quantities of food at intervals. Eating one big meal at one time alone should be ruled out. The amount of calories that you need to take must be divided sensibly across the day. You can nibble at fruits and raw vegetables in between these meals.

(69)  Man or Beast?

Eat intelligently. The difference between man and beast is that we are driven by intelligence while beasts are driven by instinct. Don’t just eat something because you feel like eating it. Ask yourself whether your body really needs it.
