(12) Control your senses

Temptations are alluring; there is no doubt about that. Our sensory powers are all directed to the outer world. There is a current of life energy flowing from brain through the nerves into the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin. As far as food is concerned, a sweet aroma or the sight of your favorite dish can be the easiest trap you may fall in. The only way to avoid this trap is to divert your mind to something else that you love to indulge in.

(13) Habit is a pitiless dictator

The taste of a forbidden fruit is sweet in the beginning, but in the end, bitter. Yet no matter how much suffering people experience, they go on doing the same self-harming things. For example, you might have been in the habit of eating snacks, fries or the like, in between meals. This is very much forbidden when you are on a diet. Don’t allow these habits to rule you and let them reach a point where you become a victim of such wrong habits.

(14) Have you checked with your doctor?

Never be your own doctor. You may think it easy to draw up a table and get on with your diet plan. Always consult an expert and then go ahead with your weight loss plan.
